Allen Skilllicorn has deep roots in the Fox River Valley. His grandfather worked as a janitor at Crystal Lake South High School. Allen’s mother, April, was a teacher in School District 300 and later served pre-school children as director of the Crystal Lake Head Start program.
Allen grew up between Crystal Lake and Algonquin; now he and his wife, Heather, have made a home in East Dundee. Together, they give back by volunteering for the local therapy dogs group and animal rescue. The Skillicorns are also active members of the Fox Valley Church near Huntley and Randall Roads.
Professionally, Allen is director of marketing for a local electronics manufacturer in Dundee. Heather is a senior graphic designer for a successful design agency in Arlington Heights.
“Tax Accountability is pleased to endorse Allen Skillicorn for the Illinois General Assembly’s 66th State House District. Allen has pledged to oppose any tax increases the legislature proposes and he is a true champion for Illinois taxpayers. I urge voters to support Allen’s candidacy and help send a tax fighter to the Illinois General Assembly.”
