Yesterday was an extra busy day for Jim Tobin, President of National Taxpayers United of Illinois. First, he was interviewed by NBC TV in Rockford regarding NTUI’s Taxpayer Survey. Later that night, he spoke at the Fox Valley Libertarian Party (FVLP) meeting.
Citizens from across Chicagoland joined together at Free and Equal’s July 4th Tea Party at Chicago’s Navy Pier. The protesters were united over their opposition of oppressive government programs, like the crippling income tax hike that has been pushed forward by Governor Pat Quinn. Read more →
